A Male, Age 54, undergoing cholesterol control protocol since Early 2007.
The protocol consisted of Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids, garlic and of Vitamin C therapy — TCL level: 211.

Admitted to the hospital on 5/28/2008 for medical emergency and tested for cholesterol in order to further assess his cardio-vascular risk.
The TCL levels were read as 307. Immediately prescribed and administered the statin drug, Zocor, 40 ml.

After consulting with the hospital internist, Dr. Molina-Garcia, a compelling case to lower the dosage to 20 and then 10 ml was made by Dr. Larisa
Upon her recommendations and after 2 weeks of low-cholesterol, 80 percent vegetarian and restricted calories diet, another cholesterol test was ordered as the test in the hospital was suspiciously high.

The updated test came back with the following results: TCL 161, both HDL and LDL found to be in a normal range. The patient’s regular internist complemented him on discontinuing Zocor, which interacts poorly with the prescribed medication.
Case Study #5

Goals: reduce Fatty liver, control digestive problems and eczema and lose weight in order to improve cardiac function and prevent stroke as well as prevent the onset of the Type 2 Diabetes.

While the client is still under regular care, the following intermediate results have been achieved in 12 months: digestion and skin condition, while not perfect is much improved.

Last annual Physical with regular internists - Results: ultrasound showed liver is "much less fatty" than it was in May, all other internal organs including aorta, pancreas, spleen, bile ducts, and kidneys looked good.

Triglycerides = 207--little high, will come down with weight
LDL = 58--great
